THE SWEET TASTE OF FREEDOM
We are all set to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day on Monday. The air is filled with the sounds of practice marches of the different school bands and police bands. Thanks to “HAR GHAR TIRANGA” initiative by the government, the tri-colour is now seen in front of every house, and there is unmissable energy that has blanketed the nation.
As far as all our memory goes, we remember being excited for this day as someone would have narrated you stories of the Indian freedom struggle, and the patriotic fervour could be felt in the air. Through it all, the one thing we all looked forward to the most was to get our hands on the customary laddoos that were distributed post-flag. hoisting.
While we are now privileged enough to by those boxes of sweets for ourselves, there are children on streets , the underprivileged ones who still cant feel the Sweetness of Freedom.
This independence day help us spread some sweetness among these kids for them to feel how sweet is the freedom and how much important is Independence.
